Sup Muses?!
Happy summer! This is my favorite season and I am ready to spend all my time outdoors in the sun.
Its been months since I’ve written and one of my goals at the top of the year was to blog consistently. Well, let me tell ya, this year hasn’t been for the faint of heart. It’s been my most difficult year by far and because of that I decided to make sure i maintain training (and do that well) and come back to the blog and newsletter when I have the energy + effort and when i want to do it. So, I’m back babes, and I’m ready to dedicate some time to building this tech piece to museologie- socials, newsletter & blog.
For the next few blog posts I’ll be focusing on self-care and really diving into the pitfalls, what it means and what I have been doing. My goal is 1 post every 14 days (twice a month) and one newsletters (starting in July.) I am hoping to hold myself accountable but that always fails so, if you’re up to checking in…please do!
Yes, I am still in the midst of a difficult and challenging year, but if anything, I feel like a much stronger and resilient individual. Eventually, I’d like to share all what’s going on, but for now, I’m pressing on and take care of my so I can be my best self, even on days when being that self means laying in bed and binging Law and Order: SVU.
Updates:
My job is great. I have no complaints. I’ve received two promotions since January of 2022. It’s flexible. I’m learning.
I am training seniors and I am working with one woman who is recovering from a stroke (not a senior.)
museologie is officially a LLC registered with the state of PA -social enterprise here I am!
My goal was to double museologie’s income—i’ve done that plus some.
Another goal was to have 3 “wellness” events—I’ve had none. I’m hoping to have at least one in 2022.
I went climbing for the first time since 2020 (Covid shutdown) and my forearms are FEEEELING it!
I have an AMAZING garden this year. (please see picture above.)
